Yaoi's "Given" Manga Gets Anime Series Adaptation

Events hosted by Fuji Television Network announced on Thursday that Yaoi Manga (Boys-Love) entitled “Given” owned by Natsuki Kizu will be adapted into a television anime series which will premiere on Fuji TV in the Noitamina block in September.

In the event previously organized by Fuji Television Network, it was also announced that, for the first time, an anime with the Yaoi genre was broadcast on Noitamina. The video below is a bonus PV video for the viewers.

Given . Synopsis

The Manga story that will be adapted into an Anime focuses on a man named Ritsuka, is a person who plays guitar but no, he has no interest in the instrument in guitar playing. One day while traveling, he accidentally met Mafuyu who was holding a broken guitar at the time.

Seeing this, Ritsuka happily started teaching Mafuyu to play the guitar. However, when Ritsuka heard Mafuyu’s voice, suddenly things started to change for Ritsuka. And this is where the storyline begins for Ritsuka and Mafuyu to establish a relationship romance.

Hikaru Yamaguchi (director of anime Mr. Osomatsu and Battle Spirits Double Drive) was the one who directed this manga to be adapted into an anime in the studio Lerche. While a screenwriter named Yuniko Ayana (anime screenwriter BanG Dream!) will oversee the scripts for the Given anime series.
