Daisuke Higuchi: Manga Whistle! W Is Going On A Hire!

Funda Otaku – Daisuke Higuchi announced in the company’s magazine Shogakukan that is Ura Sunday and in the app Manga ONE on that Monday, he will put the manga Whistle! W (Whistle! Double) to go on hiatus because he has health problems and must rest immediately.

Higuchi himself previously launched the Whistle! W was published on Ura Sunday and Manga ONE in September 2022. And, the company Shogakukan also published the compiled book volume on September 18. This manga is a continuation of Higuchi Whistle! and football themed.

In addition, Higuchi is also serializing the manga Whistle! the original in the Company’s magazine Shueisha that is, Jump Weekly Shonen from 1998 to 2002. Dan Shueisha released 24 compiled book volumes for the series. Whereas Viz Media released the 24 volumes in English from 2004 to 2010, and released the manga digitally from 2013 to 2014.

Even better, this manga turned out to get a television anime adaptation of 39 episodes in 2002-2003, and a film adaptation in 2022.
