eSports is increasingly supported by the government

Some time ago, the Indonesian eSports industry again received full support from the government.

We can know this from Menpora Zainudin Amali himself when welcoming the National Sports Day some time ago as reported on the page Indosports.

To be precise, he provided support for eSports Indonesia at the launch of the Free Fire Fall Season 2022 tournament series from Garena Indonesia, Friday (07/08/20) yesterday.

“In my opinion, when physical activities and field activities stop, more eSports activities should be encouraged,” said Zainudin Amali.

“That’s why on National Sports Day (Haornas) 2022 later, we carry three themes, sport science, sport tourism, and sports industry. Esports is also related to the three themes,” he said.

“That’s why the Free Fire Master League season II can be said to be a road to Haornas sport, which will fall on September 9,” said the Minister of Youth and Sports.

For those of you who don’t know Haornas itself is a National Sports Day which is celebrated every September 9, and this year the celebration will feel different because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

But even so the celebration will still be held and eSports will be included in it!
