It turns out that the 'Noragami Aragoto' soundtrack uses the sound of the call to prayer in it
While it’s still warm in this topic, I will also discuss about Noragami Aragoto soundtrack which is currently reaping a lot of controversy. How come? we often hear Anime Graphics or story line which often gets criticism or becomes the talk of the world Anime, But this time why the soundtrack? the answer is because this soundtrack uses snippets Adhan voice as Backsound Original Soundtrack this time.
Taku Iwasaki as the person who is responsible for making BGM Noragami Aragoto uses several pieces of verses that are often sung by Muezzins (people who call to prayer) for the song entitled “Push Buttons” he made. The verse is almost covered by another sound which is used as a combination of tones and also the noble beat of 00:13 in the video that you can watch below. Curious? just watch the video.

Snippets of the Adhan Sound Heard on the “Push Buttons” Soundtrack
If you are the people Muslim I don’t think I need to tell you the snippet of the azan verse used by Muezzin. But in case you are a non-muslim I think it’s important to include the verses in the BGM sound Noragami Aragoto the. Here’s a snippet of the verse:
- Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (2 times)
“God is Great, God is Great”
- Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah (2 times)
“I bear witness that there is no god but Allah”
- Ashhadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah (2 times)
“I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”
- Hayya ‘alash sholah (2 times)
- Hayya ‘alal falah (2 times)
- Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (1 time)
“God is Great, God is Great”
- Lailaha illallah (2 times)
“There is no God but Allah”
BGM this is heard several times in the Noragami Aragoto Episode, Which I have found on Episode 01 or episode 06 for example. We all know that Noragami Aragoto tells about Religious Problems and is familiar with the Other World. But almost Islam has never been touched by the story or concept that the Japanese developed. Often Japan uses Christianity, Buddhism, or some other faith. Islam is very rare or non-existent.
Of course, the use of the Adhan voice here is a hot topic for anime viewers, especially for viewers like me as a Muslim. Is it possible that Iwasaki finally understands how beautiful the sound of the call to prayer, which is proclaimed five times a day by Muslims to call people and as a reminder that prayer time has arrived? we don’t know for sure.
What do you think? Is the use of the call to prayer in this BGM something interesting or maybe it can be bad for the Noragami Arogoto Anime itself. Give your comment yes, I’m waiting!
Because this case is very hot, now the license holder of this song really wants to remove this song from cyberspace. So it is very difficult to find or upload new Soundtrack files. But I’ll try to get it and tell you soon.
