Final Trailer for The Huntsman: Winter's War

There are reports that say Snow White and the Huntsman could make a spin-off/sequel centered on Chris Hemsworth as ‘The Huntsman’ even before the action/adventure fairy tale hit theaters in 2012. The project finally took the title The Huntsman: Winter’s Warthe second film between before and after the events Snow White and the Huntsman – with Hemsworth starring in it together Charlize Theron (role as Revenna) and the newcomer Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow) as Revenna’s sister, Freya, and Jessica Chastain (Crimson Peak) as Sara, one of Hemsworth’s fellow soldiers who serves Freya.

Sara, coincidentally has the same name as Huntsman’s late wife as mentioned in Snow White and the Huntsman. Winter’s War is a soft reboot from the Snow White/Huntsman franchise that largely ignores the existence of certain characters from Snow White and the Huntsman – including, Sam Purell who plays Finn, brother of Revenna and Snow White (Kristen Stewart) – but still more towards Huntsman’s past. In other words, things won’t be happy for Hemsworth and Chastain in Winter’s War.

To further prove it, the final trailer for Winter’s War shows a new preview of Huntsman. As in the previous trailer, it describes the events that led to Freya becoming a cold-hearted warlord – before, a year later, resurrecting her sister (after her death at the hands of Snow White) and working together to rule it all out. Freya was of course unaware of Revenna’s betrayal a few years ago. However, it seems Huntsman will have to fight Freya and Revenna without Sara by his side, because (possibly) Sara has been killed in this film.

The Huntsman: Winter’s War originally to be written and directed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Walking Dead season 1), but Darabont finally came out before the protection started – Evan Spiliotopoulos (Hercules 2014) and Craig Mazin (The Hangover 2 & 3) will be the story writer, while the visual effects Snow White and the Huntsman, Cedric Nicolas-Troyer appointed as director.

On the other hand, Snow White and the Huntsman Of course, there are fans waiting for other adventures from the same universe, especially Hemsworth and Chastain fans who play together (in the superhero film) and Blunt is the villain. Now it seems that Winter’s War is doubtful about getting a sizable income, because the budget used to make this film is too much. But the fact is The Huntsman can be a surprise, so this Winter’s War will break all speculation.
