Apex Legends Producers Confirm Disappointing News For Season 5!

Respawn Entertainment is building hype for Season 5: Fortune’s Favor by releasing a new legend trailer and information on what’s to come. Fans are excited about all the new content that is coming. But there is a bit of disappointing news, the developer has confirmed that one new item is not quite ready to be presented in this 5th season.

Every new season, Respawn always adds new weapons for Apex Legends so far. This tradition started in season 1 when Havoc was introduced. Since then, players have started hoping to get new weapons every season such as the L-Star, Charge Rifle, and most recently the Sentinel sniper. But the bad news, the new weapon for season 5 is not ready to launch.

No New Weapons at the Beginning of Season 5 of Apex Legends

In a tweet answering questions from fans, Respawn Entertainment Producer Josh Medina confirmed the disappointing news. In the tweet he said that there will be no new weapons when the new season starts.

But that doesn’t mean there won’t be any new weapons at all in season 5. Previously there were leaks proving that the Volt SMG might be available in Season 5 of Apex Legends. But with Medina’s confirmation, it’s clear that SMG won’t be coming to the start of the season, maybe in the middle of the season.

The biggest addition from season 5 is the newest legend. Greedy possessing unique translocation and thief skills, he will probably become a legend in the game. Each season of Respawn has added a new legend to the game, so the tradition continues.

There is no word yet on when the new weapon will be added to the game. Volt SMG or CAR SMG are both seemingly possible choices, as they are the favorite weapons of Titanfall. Each season, Respawn adds various events to Apex Legends and those events are often accompanied by new content. It is very likely that the new weapon will be added at an upcoming event.
