Well, this is where the protagonist’s story begins. Here we have to start from scratch and fix and restore everything you ever had. The protagonist must restore the green grass in Mineral Town, and also has to revive everything that has been barren. So, will the protagonist be able to restore Mineral Town to its original state?

Gameplay Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

Basically this game is Harvest Moon Back to Nature. As we explained earlier that Marvelous has now broken up with Natsume and finally the Harvest Moon name has now been taken over by Natsume. So, for the original Harvest Moon series, which once triumphed on the Playstation 1 console, there are now two versions, namely Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon. The Story of Seasons series has pretty good sales compared to Harvest Moon from Natsume.

As a remake or reboot game, this RPG simulation game is not much different from Harvest Moon Back to Nature. Here you can be a farmer as well as a rancher. Apart from that, there are certain things that must be in Harvest Moon or Story of Seasons games, namely festivals and dating. Like the original game, Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town offers several options for your potential partners that you must approach and treat differently.

Then, there are several new things offered in this remake game, namely the choice of different characters. Here you can customize your character to your liking. You can change skin color and gender. Actually, in previous games there was also a female gender, but if we want to play a female protagonist we have to buy a different game.

Another aspect that slightly sets it apart from the original is the simpler controls. Although simpler, the controls provided by Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. For PS4 console players, you use the right analog to select items. There is something that you don’t find in this remake version, namely the feature of throwing items carelessly. Junebe, Marvelous knows that there are often quite annoying incidents when players accidentally throw an item, especially if the item is an important item.

Conclusion

This game is the most appropriate game for the 90s generation who wants to reminisce with old games. Moreover, in terms of gameplay, there are not many changes. In our opinion, compared to Natsume’s version of Harvest Moon, this game is much better.
