Next Chapter of My Hero Academia Manga Postponed due to COVID-19

COVID-19 is forcing changes in manga production to keep pace with the ongoing pandemic. One example is Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga, which is moving to a fully digital system for the release of the next chapter. And because of COVID-19, the latest news says that the next chapter will have to be postponed.

The next chapter was originally slated to launch in this week’s issue which would be on July 13th, but was eventually pushed back to July 20th.

This announcement comes from the official Twitter account saying that they need extra time to complete the script due to system changes. While this may be a disappointment to fans, it looks like moving away from the conventional analog drawing system will make it easier to keep Horikoshi and his staff safe.
