Difference between Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S7

After knowing the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S7, then let’s examine the differences in specifications between these two tablets.

1. Body Dimension

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S7 come with wide screen dimensions. However, they both have different dimensions. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 uses Snapdragon 855 which is built with 7 nm fabrication. While the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 comes with Snapdragon 865+ which is built with 7 nm+ fabrication.

Snapdragon 855 itself is a chipset in which there are three clusters. The first cluster is four Kryo 485 cores clocked at 1.78 GHz for power saving. The second, is the 3 core Kryo 485 with a speed of 2.42 GHz for performance. And the last one is a Kryo 485 core prime 2.84 GHz for faster performance.

The Snapdragon 865+ also has three clusters. The first cluster is four Kryo 585 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz for power saving. The second, is a 3 core Kryo 585 with a speed of 2.42 GHz for performance. And the last one is a Kryo 585 3.9 GHz single core prime for faster performance.

Judging from these specifications, it is clear that the performance of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is better. Although in fact, the performance of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is also not bad and is still top class.

4. Batteries and Technology

Both tablets support fast charging technology. The difference is, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 already supports 45W fast charging. While the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 only supports 15W fast charging.

From the specifications given, it is clear that the Galaxy Tab S6 is still losing. Battery life could probably be more efficient thanks to the AMOLED display and just refresh rate 60 Hz. But charging time is another matter. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is definitely more attractive because it offers faster charging which is certainly useful for those who are really busy.

5. Fingerprint Sensor Position
