Final Fantasy 7 Remake Shows Its First 3 Hours of Gameplay
Final Fantasy VII Remake is previewing their gameplay for the first time and it’s really something special, if you’ve played the previous version then you’ll know how it feels, like Midgar shots, trains, the first few battles – there’s definitely an unavoidable nostalgia , no matter how hard and vigilant you try.
In the remake version, more attention is focused on the seemingly insignificant flower girl. Cloud talked with him for a bit longer, the two of them had a bit of trouble with the guards, and things were very strange and unexpected. Kitase mentioned that the development team did some research into what fans found particularly impressive scenes from the original game, wanting to make sure they had some extra considerations in the Remake.
If you’ve followed the demo version, you’ll have an idea of how it works: as the trellis focuses on blocking and dodging, regular attacks are mapped to the Square button, and when you use melee characters like Tifa or Cloud, individual strikes are linked to discrete keystrokes. . Characters with ranged weapons, such as Barret’s arms or Aerith’s magic staff, require you to hold Square for continuous fire. Continuous attacks will build up your segment of ATB meter, at which point you can spend segments on abilities and spells (which still require MP).
