Activision Officially Announces Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and its Game Logo
After having reported that the latest Call of Duty series will be announced this year, Activison has finally officially confirmed that this year’s newest game is Modern Warfare 2.
Through his tweet on Twitterdeveloper Infinity Ward finally showed the new logo for the new game along with the hashtag #ModernWarfare2.
The new logo differs from the old Modern Warfare 2 logo by a clever design element that incorporates the roman 2 (II) logo in the outline of the game’s initials.
Like the first reboot of the game in 2022, Modern Warfare 2 will also continue the story of the first game and will now focus on the war against the Colombian drug cartels.

Infinity Ward and Activision did not share much information about this new game. There isn’t even an official website that usually gives some interesting details.
But fortunately, VGC had time to share some new info related to Modern Warfare 2. Which should still be labeled as rumors because various changes can still occur.
Their sources say that the single-player story will be darker than Modern Warfare 2022. With more close combat.
