How to Catch Pokemon with Poke Ball Plus in Pokemon Go

In a separate article, we had time to teach you how to connect Poke Ball Plus with the application Pokemon Go in smartphone you. That way you can catch Pokemon without having to keep opening the app Pokemon Go in the middle of the road.

It’s just that Poke Ball Plus itself is only in the form of a ball with two buttons. There’s no screen or any indicators other than a light around one of the buttons. This light will also occasionally light up with different colors.

In app Pokemon Go there is no tutorial on how to use Poke Ball Plus or the meaning of the indicator lights. That’s why we’re going to teach you how to catch Pokemon with a Poke Ball Plus and the meaning of each color of the light shown.

Meet Pokemon or Pokestops

Once connected, Poke Ball Plus is usually silent until you find a wild Pokemon or are near a Pokestop. While walking, you will occasionally see your Poke Ball Plus indicator light flashing and vibrating.

Each vibration pattern is always paired with the same color. This is to make it easier for you to identify what happens when you keep the Poke Ball Plus in your pocket while holding it. Here’s what each light color means and the vibration pattern that will appear:

  • Blue light flashes and three pairs of vibrations means you are near Pokestop
  • Green light flashes and three long vibrations means that you find a Pokemon that you have caught before aka already in the Pokedex
  • The light is yellow and the three vibrations are not uniform means you found a Pokemon that you have never caught or have not entered in the Pokedex
  • The light turns red and vibrates means you’re out of Pokeballs or there’s a problem with your Poke Ball Plus connection. Open notification smartphone to see what happened.

Catching Pokemon or Picking Up Items at Pokestops

When Poke Ball Plus displays an indicator that you’ve found a wild Pokemon or it’s near a Pokestop, all you have to do is press the button at the top of the Poke Ball Plus. It will make you take items at Pokestops or catch the Pokemon.

After pressing the top button of Poke Ball Plus, you will see one of the indicators below, either alone or alternately.

  • The light is white means you’re catching Pokemon that you meet
  • Red light means that the Pokemon you are catching has managed to escape. If this happens when you take items on Pokestops, that means items your bag is full and you can’t take it items.
  • Colorful lights means you managed to catch the Pokemon that you meet. The Pokemon will enter your collection automatically.

That’s it! Simple isn’t it? The only drawback when using Poke Ball Plus is that you can’t see what Pokemon you’ve caught. In notification smartphone you will only be given a message that you managed to catch one Pokemon. But that is a small price compared to the convenience you get.

Remember, you can catch Pokemon with Poke Ball Plus only as long as this Poke Ball Plus is connected to Pokemon Go active in smartphone you. Therefore make sure Bluetooth smartphone you continue to be active and the application Pokemon Go stay active at least on background.

If Poke Ball Plus doesn’t give any reaction, open the app Pokemon Go and check icon Poke ball at the top right of the screen to check. If icon The Pokeball is not included with a green color in the middle, it means your Poke Ball Plus connection is lost or the battery runs out.

With the convenience offered, this Poke Ball Plus is definitely worth having if you are a player Pokemon Go and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee/Let’s Pikachu on Nintendo Switch. By the way Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee/Let’s Pikachuyou can also connect Pokemon Go with Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee/Let’s Pikachu. But we will discuss that in the next article.
