7 New Games This Week (12 - 18 November 2022)

Welcome back to the “7 New Games of the Week” section. This time Gimbot will provide a list of the latest games that will be released this week!

The list starts from Hitman 2 which reenacts the character Agent 47 in his mission to kill the targets with his cold hands, Spyro Reignited Trilogy which brings back the iconic purple dragon from the golden age of the PS1, and Fallout 76 as a game online multiplayer first developed by Bethesda.

So, what are the new games this week that will be released? Here’s the review.

1. Hitman 2

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One | Release: November 13, 2022

Gameplay Hitman 2 will be similar to the previous series. You will take on the role of Agent 47, a contract assassin who works for International Contract Agency (ICA).

As usual, you will travel to various locations around the world to kill targets that have a high profile status. Hitman 2 has six missions in six different locations.

A little spoilersthis series will reveal what the past of Agent 47 itself was like and how doi get involved in the world Hitman.

Hitman 2 itself is a game with stealth genre developed by IO Interactive and published by Warner Bros.

For those of you who do Pre-order Gold Edition or Collector’s Editionyou can play this game last November 9th.

2. Runners 3

Platforms: PC, PS4, Switch | Release: November 13, 2022

runner3 is a game with genre of rhythm platformer where you will control CommanderVideo, the protagonist of the Bit.Trip series.

CommanderVideo will run forward automatically and you have to control the movement from jumping, sliding, kicking, and collecting items.

As the name implies, obstacles obstacle that comes will appear according to the rhythm of the music in the game. Some of the updates presented include Retro Challenges, character movesand dance moves.

3. Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Platforms: PS4, Xbox One | Release: November 13, 2022

Who does not know the little purple dragon named Spyro who is accompanied by a dragonfly who is trying to save his friends from the crystal prison.

This iconic dragon figure from Insomniac Games will be resurrected in the title Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Version remaster it will have three games starting from Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

4. Fallout 76

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One | Release: November 14, 2022

Fallout 76 arguably Bethesda’s biggest ambition in making games online multiplayer hers follows some developer others who have jumped first.

Fallout itself is a game with post-apocalyptic role-playing genre which was originally developed by Interplay Entertainment. The storyline is taken in the 22nd and 23rd centuries with the concept of retrofuturistic atompunk.

This concept is taken based on the history of the post-war era in America in the 1950s which was wrapped between the hope of future technological advances and the fear of nuclear weapons.

5. Sunset Overdrive

Platforms: PC, Xbox One | Release: November 16, 2022

Sunset Overdrive is a game with genre action-adventure third-person shooter developed by Insomniac Games. Previously, the game was released for Xbox One in October 2022 and is now available on PC.

You will play in the year 2027, in a fictional metropolis called Sunset City. You will play a FizzCo worker who has to fight OD (short for Overcharge Drinkers).

OD himself is a human who has turned into a mutant after drinking the FizzCo energy drink. Your job is to deal with this mess.

You can shoot to finish off enemies by running on walls or fences to using cable tracks to move places quickly.

6. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI

Platforms: Switch | Release: November 16, 2022

Welcome back to the design game game designer legendary, Sid Meier finally released on Switch. Civilization is a game with turn-based strategy genre that challenges you to build a civilization.

You will build from land, research technology, conquer enemies, to face to face with the most famous leaders in history.

7. Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!

Platforms: Switch | Release: November 16, 2022

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! will bring back the classic Pokemon RPG experience. This time the title of this game will be present on the Nintendo Switch.

Don’t worry, if you’re new to this game, gameplay offered is quite easy to play. The game features 151 first generation Pokemon.

As usual, gameplay what is being played is to fight against NPC characters as Pokémon Trainers and Gym Leaders.
