7 New Games of the Week (4 February 2022): God Eater 3, Spike Volleyball, Riot: Civil Unrest

Welcome back to the “7 Newest Games of the Week” section. This time Gimbot will provide a list of the latest games that will be released this week!

The list starts from God Eaters 3 which brought back the hunt for the monster Aragami by the devouring gods, Spike Volleyball which challenges you to play volleyball, and Riot – Civil Unrest which created a tense atmosphere of unrest between the people and the police.

So, what are the new games this week that will be released? Here’s the review.

1. Away: Journey to the Unexpected

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch | Release: February 5, 2022

Tired of the same old adventure games? Well, this week you can play Away: Journey to the Unexpected on PS4. This game is played in first person shooter that combines action rogue.

You will play a character who is not hero or warrior. Just a child who goes on an adventure with a power called friendship.

What’s interesting about this game is its colorful world design with unique visuals, like 2D characters living in a 3D world.

2. Access Denied

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One| Release: February 5, 2022

For you puzzle lovers, you can play Access Denied this week. Access Denied itself is a puzzle game that challenges you to become a cracker trying to solve puzzles from secret boxes.

This box keeps private data hidden. There are 36 different levels that you can complete and raise your status to a true puzzle enthusiast.

3. Spike Volleyball

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One | Release: February 5, 2022

Almost all sports can be played in a video game, Volleyball is one of them. With Spike Volleyball, you can play volleyball consisting of 50 men’s and women’s national teams.

You can manage your own team and take it to win championships at the highest level such as international tournaments. You will be challenged to apply the right tactics to become a world champion.

4. Riot – Civil Unrest

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch | Release: February 6, 2022

How does it feel to be a police officer on duty to quell the anger of the masses when a riot occurs? Or have you ever imagined being an angry mob and causing chaos?

You can try both in this week’s new game titled Riot – Civil Unrest. Previously this game was released on PS4 and is now available on Nintendo Switch.

It all started when a civil crisis occurred and worsened resulting in the collapse of the community’s economy and violent public chaos. What can you do to calm all this mess? What’s your choice, to be a cop or a mob?

5. 39 Days to Mars

Platforms: PC, Switch, Xbox One | Release: February 6, 2022

39 Days to Mars is a puzzle-adventure game with a steampunk theme that can be played in multiplayer.

You’ll see the story of Sir Albert Wickes and The Right Honorable Clarence Baxter, two 19th century explorers who chose to pilot the HMS Fearful on its maiden voyage to Mars.

Communication and teamwork skills will be put to the test here to keep you and your friends up in the air when things go wrong like a steam engine running out of coal and a ship cat tearing up navigation charts.

6. Please, Don’t Touch Anything

Platforms: Switch, Xbox One | Release: February 8, 2022

One more puzzle game that you can try out this week is Please, Don’t Touch Anything. This game is very exciting because of the interactive gameplay. That is, the actions you take can affect objects in the game such as breaking glass.

Note, you don’t have to hold everything because it might actually make things worse, like when you press a red button that shouldn’t be pressed. There are more than 30 unique puzzles.

7. God Eater 3

Platforms: PC, PS4 | Release: February 8, 2022

After years of final battles, Earth is no longer a human habitation. Like the previous series, God Eater 3 still carries action role-playing with hack gameplay and slashes.

You will play as a God Eater who is equipped with a God Arc weapon that can be turned into a weapon. You will return to hunting and killing a large monster named Aragami.
