Inazuma City, 3 New Characters and Cross Save Feature!

Developer miHoYo gave a leak about Genshin Impact Update 2.0 “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”. Travelers will be invited to explore a new city: Inazuma! This third city is still full of mysteries and reportedly very dangerous! Genhsin Impact will add three new characters. One of them Kamisato Ayaka, a new five-star playable character, will come in handy against threats in the Inazuma region.

In addition to content updates, miHoyo also confirmed new supporting features including the highly anticipated cross-save function on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PC, Android, and iOS that is even more indulgent and fun for all players!

Carrying an anime theme with a world of adventure, activity and rich customization, this free-to-play Open World Action RPG game takes players to the amazing elemental world of Teyvat. Players take on the role of a “Traveler” who is looking for his brother and uncovers the mysterious secrets of Teyvat.

Inazuma, a New Town Full of Mysteries!

Situated across the ocean from the main area that can be explored so far are six mysterious islands. This area is said to be ruled by Electro Archon and has a very different culture, creatures, and mysteries from the rest of the region!
Unlike Mondstadt and Liyue, Inazuma is surrounded by sea on all sides and consists of six main islands, this place is also often accompanied by strong sea breezes and thunderstorms.

As the lord of the island, Electro Archon seems obsessed with pursuing eternal life until he mysteriously disappears.
During their adventure in Inazuma, travelers will face new boss monsters and valuable loot. The Hypostasis family will have a new Pyro member. The Perpetual Mechanical Array, which seems to have some kind of connection with the Ruin Guards in Mondstadt and Liyue.

Three New Characters of Genshin Impact

Version 2.0 will introduce three characters at once. First is Kamisato Ayaka, the daughter of the Kamisato Clan Commission, who is dignified, wise, and strong. Ayaka’s graceful figure has been known by many fans and players since the closed beta test period and will come as a five-star Cryo sword user.

The second new character is Yoimiya. This five-star character will be present in Version 2.0. This Pyro archer and expert in fireworks is known as the “Queen of the Summer Festival”. Yoimiya is good at making fireworks that symbolize hopes and dreams.
The third new character is Sayu, a four-star ninja who wields a giant Anemo Visionanda weapon that is bigger than himself.

Genhsin Impact 2.0 Feature Update

One of the Version 2.0 Genshin Impact brings a huge amount of new content into the game itself, some players are really excited about something about the functionality of the title. The new update will introduce the long-awaited and requested cross-save feature. Confirming the cross-save support leak a few days ago, the upcoming changes will allow accounts to be used freely across all available platforms, finally allowing PlayStation players to move their Genshin Impact accounts to mobile and PC, and vice versa.

For players on the PlayStation console, this update will include exclusive features and improvements for the PS5. While all versions will receive feature upgrades and optimizations, PS5 players will enjoy DualSense haptic feedback support, along with 60 FPS and smooth 4K visuals. In comparison, the current version of the game on PS4 only runs at 30 FPS, and tends to experience slightly slow loading times. Update 2.0 will bring a significant improvement in graphics rendering so that the game runs smoother.

Genshin Impact 2.0 will be coming on July 21, 2022. Announcements about other additions and events will be announced later.
